Description Frederik Vos 2005-09-11 05:58:17 UTC
If you start gnome with a cd or dvd in the drive, you are not able to access the
drives by double-clicking on it. You will get the message about unable to mount
/dev/hdx not finding it in fstab/mtab. If you eject the cd / dvd, put it back in
the drive, you see also the label of the cdrom/dvd, and you're able to browse it.

For data CDs, this works for me (beta4plusplus)

For audio CDs, I get a complaint about not being to access "cdda://...". This
is actually the fault of bug #116472.

For the second case, I'll include the patch from upstream and test it again.
I'll tell you about it in about an hour.
