Description Tamas Sashalmi 2005-09-12 01:07:25 UTC
After update from suse 9.2 (using Yast system update) I have problem to install
my sound card. I had no problems on Suse 9.2 before update. Using alsaconf to
configure the sound card is working, but not with yast. After reboot sound card
not auto started, need manual starting with
"rcalsasound restart".

error messages using the yast :

Well, after login as root to gnome and playing with yast and alsaconf, the
problem solved. Don't know how! Well, probably a clean install would be needed.
( my 9.2 was updated from 9.1, maybe there is some mess up in my box)

Hmm, also I have no idea what went wrong.
Please reopen this if happens again.
