If I have a Groupwise account configure and I am online, Evolution crashes when
it fetches new messages.  It seems to crash as it finishes.  I can read messages
offline.

Without a stack trace from the crash it's very hard to determine what caused it.
Could you please provide us a trace if you are able to reproduce the bug again?

looks like evo is just not catching an error.  Even though the crash dialog pops
up Evo is still running.

This is due to a bad-response by the GroupWise server. This is fixed in the latest release by Vivek.
