When you finish youre instalation with the packages, YaST asks you, if you want to install some more packages. When yopu say yes, all bars in the next installation are not updated. that means, that it seems like youre ready, befor you have start with 1 Package . So onesmore: Install some packages (one is fine too). After youre ready, the next questione you select is yes (for more packages insztalling). Then you choose 2 ore more Packages. After that, the error comes: not the right Percent-Bar (for ending.. I hope you undrestood me... greez Atha
Sorry, in which version did you find this? I was not able to reproduce this with RC1+. So it might already be fixed. Was there a run of SuSEConfig in between?

This is I found in the last Version I was downloaded 9.9.2005. If this bug is already fixt OK. I have this Bug here . I wrote you an E-Mail, maybe you dosen't read it, so I try once more (I didn't answer it here on the Board, only with an E-Mail): At first you can select one Package to update it. after it is ready (with SuSEconfig) it asks you, if you wish to install antoher pakage(s). Here is important that you choose more than one to see it better. Maybe you could choose 50 Packages (with ten its the same) and look in the next step (when it is installing) how mutch MB will get installed and how much time will be gone till its ready. There is only 0:00Minutes to go and 0 Packages to install (but it schould write for exaple 50 or 49 packages and 3 or 2 CDs...) I hope you could understand me (if youre german write back, I can explain it better in german ... ;o) have a nice Weekend ... greez Atha PS.: For all the Germans here one German Translation: In der Version SuSE 10.0 RC1 (aber auch schon bei der 9.3) war dieser Fehler. Da ich es in Deutsch besser schreiben kann, werde ich ihn nochmal hier wiederholen: Die Installation geht über 3 Schritte: 1. Schritt man wählt die Dateien (Pakete) aus die man haben will. 2. Schritt - diese Pakete werden installiert 3. Schritt SuSEconfig wird gestartet und zum Schluss gefragt, ob man noch weitere Pakete hinzufügen kann. Dann fängt das ganze Prozedere noch mal von vorne an. Allerdings ist dann bei der 2. Installation, während des 2. Schritts der Fehler: Es wird angezeigt, dass man schon fertig ist, obwohl man ja eigentlich noch garnicht angefangen hat. Mein Fehler war, dass ich geschrieben habe, dass es auch mit einem Paket funktioniert. Tut es aber nicht bzw. man kann es nicht sehen. Am besten ist es, wenn man ein paar Pakete installiert oder auch nur aktualisiert (sollte für einen Tester auch besser sein ;o)). Beim Zweiten mal wieder mehrere Pakete auswählen. Sie werden sehen, dass dort dann steht, (also beim 2. mal) fertig, obwohl er eigentlich noch nicht angefangen hat. wünsche noch viel Spass beim deBuggen ;o) mfg Atha

Closing old LATER+REMIND bugs as WONTFIX - if you still plan to work on it, feel free to reopen and set to ASSIGNED. In case the report saw repeated reopen comments, it's due to bugzilla timing out on the huge request ;(
