After updating from Suse Linux 9.3 to Open Suse OSS 10.0 RC1 I can't get my
(Atheros) wificard work. The problem was the modules ath_pci than, wen attemping
to load, returns many errors, such as 

WARNING: Error inserting ath_hal (/lib/modules/2.6.11-6mdk/net/ath_hal.ko):
Invalid module format
WARNING: Error inserting wlan (/lib/modules/2.6.11-6mdk/net/wlan.ko): Invalid
module format
WARNING: Error inserting ath_rate_sample
(/lib/modules/2.6.11-6mdk/net/ath_rate_sample.ko): Invalid module format
FATAL: Error inserting ath_pci (/lib/modules/2.6.11-6mdk/net/ath_pci.ko):
Invalid module format


Also somethin other about symbols "ath_rate_***" not resolved and an
ath_rate_*** module not supported by Novell.

The Atheros modules are in kernel-nongpl
