I am using gnome in RC2. I had sound in RC1 and when I installed RC2 the sound
no longer works for any device under my GNOME desktop. If I go into yast2 and
test the sound I can hear it fine, but I don't hear anything for individual
applications or components. I have not tested under KDE.
