Description Jason Wallwork 2005-09-14 05:35:20 UTC
Not wanting to go into OOo again (slow computer), I figured I'd drag'n'drop
the ODT file I had created earlier onto the printer icon. At first the
Kprinter dialog came up and then when I clicked to print, I rec'd this error
message:

"Nothing to print" and no choice but to exit it. Same happens with dropping a
PDF file (created in OOo) on the icon.

Printing works fine directly from OOo and kpdf (inside Konqueror), btw.

I did it again but this time clicked on Options thinking I had a setting
messed up. It looks like because I have spaces in the filename that kprint
interprets that as meaning multiple files (each word in name becomes a file),
none of which exist.

that works fine for me..

I downloaded the test pdf (http://www.fh-rosenheim.de/upload/102/Test.pdf) to
my desktop and drag&dropped it on the printer icon. printed just fine.

does it work if you call "kprinter <file>" from a commandline?

ah, it happens if the file name contains a space

submitted. might be too late for 10.0, but then we'll put it on queue for an
online update.
