Description Holger Macht 2005-09-14 13:26:45 UTC
When stopping the acpid daemon and so releasing /proc/acpi/event, the ial daemon
accesses the interface preventing other services (hal, powersave, acpid) to
listen on it.

I already found the mistake in specfile. Patch0 is defined two time, so the
first defined patch is overwritten. Therefore, the first patch is never applied.

And also the 'p%atch' command is only executed once, so this is the real problem
I think.

i just restarted acpid and ial grabbed /proc/acpi/event! disgusting!!
Comment 3 Timo Hoenig 2005-09-14 16:29:36 UTC
I've fixed the spec file and submitted a new package to autobuild.

aj: please consider including this update if a RC5 is neccessary.
