Bugzilla – Bug 117231
strange messages when unplugging usb devices
Last modified: 2006-01-04 10:51:15 UTC
Whenever I unplug a USB device eg my treo or a webcam with a built in USB micro then I get messages like this: Sep 15 16:05:39 aquarius resmgr[4512]: set_facl() - ACL error on /dev/ttyUSB0, acl_set_file: No such file or directory Sep 15 16:05:39 aquarius resmgr[4512]: set_facl() - ACL error on /dev/ttyUSB1, acl_set_file: No such file or directory
on unlug it's harmless. udev has already removed the device node then so there is nothing left to do for resmgr.
fixed in STABLE
Problem still is there.
It's a different one this time. tmpfs doesn't support ACLs.
