Description Herbert Graeber 2005-09-16 21:54:44 UTC
After installing the forcedeth adapter by hand (autdetection does not work:
maybe bug #116394), it seems to receive packages, but it cannot send packages.
The network adapter works fine with SUSE 9.3.

I have found following related message in /var/log/messages:
"kernel: nv_stop_tx: TransmitterStatus remained busy<7>eth0: no IPv6 routers p
resent"

The Motherboard is a MSI NEO4-F (AMD64, NForce4 Chipset).

lspci gives following information about the network adapter:
"00:0a.0 Bridge: nVidia Corporation CK804 Ethernet Controller (rev a3)"
