Linksys WPC55AG PC Card fails to load

When a system running SuSE Linux 10.0 RC1 has a Linksys WPC55AG wireless network card inserted there is no network interface available for the card. Seems that your kernel modules are broken. Call rpm -q kernel-default-nongpl rpm -V kernel-default-nongpl rpm -q kernel-default rpm -V kernel-default and depmod -a Except the rpm -q these commands should not print anything
BTW: This is not critical since it works on other machines.
The kernel-default-nongpl RPM file is not installed. The file is not present on the iso files I downloaded from OpenSuSE. I am assuming that the RPM file is not distributed with OpenSuSE because it is "nongpl". I searched for the file and found a site where I could download it. After installing the file the adapter is working properly. Does this mean that the Linksys WPC55AG card is not supported in OpenSuSE?
It is not supported out of the box, this is correct. The non-opensource parts have to be downloaded.
