Description Gerhard Roland 2021-04-05 12:15:47 UTC
normal operation is fine. Kernel is stock (5.3.18-52)
When I plugin my webcam (Logitech Quickcam 9000. vendorId: 046D, productID: 0990)
journalctl throws a long message sequence ending in read: Worker failed..
Afterwards lsusb will hang as a reboot or a shutdown (hard reset needed); the device does not work either.
This device works well in leap 15.2 or Tumbleweed on the same Computer, as well as with the Stock RT-Kernel from 15.3 (5.3.6-8.3-rt).
The non-working device is one - the hangs on lsusb , reboot and shutdown seem to be more serious.

It's likely the known bug of USB audio driver in the SLE15-SP3/Leap15.3 kernel, which has been already fixed in git repo (and the upcoming next release).
Please check the kernel in OBS Kernel:SLE15-SP3 repo.

Yes, kernel 5.3.18-135... from OBS works. Thank you!

Thanks for confirmation. This should be addressed in the next release.
