Description Michael Lashkevich 2021-06-06 10:40:03 UTC
When I upgrade the system by means of the DVD installer I need network connection during setting up network repositories. But the installer does not provide this option. There is no menu to choose a network. Automatically it only connect to a wired network. On my notebooks that only have wifi connection I could not activate repositories before I realized to do it from the command line (by switching Ctrl-Alt-F5) with the use of wpa_supplicant and dhcpd. But less experienced users surely won't cope with it. The installer MUST have a network setting screen before repository setting screen.

Hi Michael,

When a network connection is not available, the installer shows the network configuration screen right after language/keyboard selection. However, that's not the case when upgrading the system.

I am moving the bug to the queue for further processing.

Thanks for reporting!
