Description Ged Tyrrell 2005-09-24 09:36:29 UTC
Despite saying it is selected, the screen does not go to 1280*768. In the test
server, it will only do a maxumum of 1024*768. System is a Sony Vaio VGN-T1XP.

This laptop has a Intel 855GME chip and this means we are forced to use
the BIOS under Linux. The VESA BIOS doesn't include that resolution which
is a bug in the BIOS. To fix that you can use a tool named

  855resolution
