Description Olaf Hering 2005-09-24 13:45:19 UTC
cron is one of the things that constantly cause the disk to spin up.

insserv -r cron does not work because haldaemon pretends to have a hard
requirement for cron. hal.rpm seems to have no cron scripts in the pacakge list.

This was in the script since 9.3 this was never a problem. I could not find the
reason for this, but I think this was something with start HAL on special place
in the init process.

We can remove this for 10.1 with the next version
Comment 2 Danny Al-Gaaf 2005-10-19 12:58:35 UTC
submitted new package without requirement of cron to stable
