Description Ofir Geri 2005-09-24 21:38:39 UTC
I tried to add another keyboard layout with YaST2 on SuSE 10.0 RC1 and it has
been done, but I had no option to configure the hotkey for switching layouts, so
I wasn't able to switch to the secondary layout.
Most users use keyboard LED to show when using secondary layout, but there's no
option to set it too.

Another issue is when selecting Hebrew (and I guess any language other than
English too) in the installation, it doesn't configure Hebrew keyboard layout
(it configures English only).

10.1 alpha 3 has it too.

Marcus? The use of the LED is a fine idea. Is it possible to add such a feature in the next release?

multiple keyboard layouts are not set using multiple Keyboard sections
it is done by adding a XKB layout in the core keyboard section. The
LED display can be added by activating the corresponding option.
The name of the option is:

Use Keyboard LED to Show Alternate Group
