Description Tobias Burnus 2005-09-26 08:57:46 UTC
One can also build Ghostscript as library; that way one accesses the API more
directly than through pipes.

Currently, libgs.so is not built.

Expected: libgs.so is built.

One program which uses libgs.so is GSView:
   http://www.cs.wisc.edu/~ghost/gsview/
which is unfortunally only available under the Aladdin Free Public Licence and
can thus not be put on the CDs. Still it would be nice if one could install it
and it would simply run w/o needing to compile GhostScript.
