I'm experiencing bug #102970, but I'm unable to apply the solution because, 
after changing the theme and quickbar preferences, when I press the Save 
Preferences button the settings remain unchanged.  
 
I'm also experiencing bug #116380, which I thing is related to the this. It 
seems all input I provide on form fields is being ignored. 
 
I tried with diferent browsers and also erased the cookies. The problem 
persists.

I have added a fix for this issue and test to make sure it works
