md5 sums check failed for all my 5 cd's. i resumed the instalation but ended up 
with a text based os because x-server and more several packages were not 
installed.

All SUSE Linux OSS bugs should go into the product SUSE LINUX 10.0 or
newer, because SUSE Linux is based on the SUSE Linux OSS code base.
Always choose the right product when reporting a bug

In Your case, the only thing you can do is, to get really working ISO images. If your md5sums are broken, things will go wrong and nobody can help you.
