Bugzilla – Bug 120027
Window decorations messed up with maximized windows
Last modified: 2006-03-18 17:06:10 UTC
If you maximize a window, the decorations get messed up. The icon in the upper left corner and the buttons in the upper right corner get bigger than the blue title bar is.
Lubos, is there some adoption needed for 3.5 kwin?
why is it that no matter what I put in the needinfo field, it sticks to the reporter? ;(
ok, the drawing code for the gradient is just broken. I guess if you fix that, it will look good. Lukas, please have a look. The code is in kdebase-SuSE
the title pixmap must get drawn some more pixels higher.
As shown on these pictures, I cannot seem to reproduce that... http://ktown.kde.org/~lukas/pics/kwin_SUSE.jpg http://ktown.kde.org/~lukas/pics/kwin_SUSE1.jpg Any other hints how to reproduce? What KDE version, what fonts?
Can you please post your kwinplastikrc file here?

Still can't reproduce :(
I attached a screenshot of my system.

Fixed
now I fixed it myself ;(
Is there a way to fix a SuSE 10.0 installation with the novell KDE 3.5 packages? I mean by upgrading a package with the fixed version.
Why does the problem still exist for the official Suse 10.0 upgrade? Could someone inform the packager to build updated version of the relevant packages as the bug seems to be fixed in KDE?
Doesn't seem to be fixed. Check out the upper left corner of http://w3.suse.de/~cthiel/120027.png
Looks like it's been broken again in KDE SVN :( http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=115759
The same for me. It was fixed for some version but showed up again in beta3
Still there in beta6
I fixed the broken icon painting
