Description Alexander Lavrinenko 2005-10-07 14:13:41 UTC
After fresh system install (base and KDE) when running YaST's Software
Management tool it shows following unresolved dependencies at startup:
1. kdepim3 3.4.2-19 conflict
kdepim3 requires libpisock.so.8
2. kdepim3-kpilot 3.4.2-19 conflict
kdepim3-kpilot requires libpisock.so.8
3. libpisock.so.8 not available
required by:
kdepim3
kdepim3-kpilot
multisync-palm
4. multisync-palm 0.82+cvs-9 conflict
multisync-palm requires libpisock.so.8

KPilot refuses to start telling that:
alex@shark:~> kpilot
kpilot: error while loading shared libraries: libpisock.so.8: cannot open
shared object file: No such file or directory

Read the release notes for the workaround.
