Description Stuart Nettleton 2023-06-02 19:34:42 UTC
Logout and then attempt to relogin ... the password is not authenticated ... user account is correct ... password renewed a few times ... new installation of Tumbleweed 6.3.4-1-default/KDE Plasma 5.27.5 on new computer (fortunately with the new installation I automatically login upon restart, which is what I seek to disable)

Oh ... btw ... I can login with my password from a lock state (Windows Key - L)
Comment 2 Stuart Nettleton 2023-06-04 10:15:12 UTC
I solved this issue by removing fprintd fingerprint recognition ... which I had installed according to https://en.opensuse.org/SDB:Using_fingerprint_authentication
