Description Michal Suchanek 2023-06-19 09:59:09 UTC
This is a problem with

kernel-default-6.3.4-lp154.5.1.gbfc9f93.x86_64
kernel-default-6.3.8-lp154.2.1.g627a49e.x86_64

and is a regression since

kernel-default-5.14.21-150500.53.2.x86_64

The problem is not reproducible reliably - sometimes tying suspend right after boot waking the system works but most of the time it stays asleep and cannot be waked.

Could you try 6.2.x kernel from OBS home:tiwai:kernel:6.2 and check whether the problem already exists? We need to narrow down the regression range.

That's built for TW, not Leap

> That's built for TW, not Leap

The package for Leap is found in "backport" repo of the given OBS project.
Comment 6 Michal Suchanek 2023-07-02 11:11:13 UTC
Seems to work with kernel-default-6.2.12-lp154.1.1.geb3255d.x86_64
Comment 7 Michal Suchanek 2023-07-08 12:52:32 UTC
kernel-default-6.2.12-lp154.1.1.geb3255d.x86_64 survived quite a few suspend cycles so that's quite positively working

kernel-default-6.4.1-lp154.7.1.g3561b10.x86_64 survived a couple of suspend cycles, looks promising.
Comment 8 Michal Suchanek 2023-07-10 07:30:17 UTC
Looks like only Linux 6.3 was affected - not before, not after.
