Description Geri Broser 2023-06-22 15:34:36 UTC
...with the according updates.

If I select _Sleep_ on the external keyboard or via the system menu on my laptop (https://www.notebookcheck.net/Schenker-XMG-U706-Clevo-P771DM-Notebook-Review.150989.0.html)

* the display goes black
* (external) keyboard and mouse are disabled (didn't check the internal or the touchpad)

but

* the cooling fans keep running
* the internal keyboard's backlight keeps shining.

TW also can't be re-activated by pressing _Wake_ or any key on the (external) keyboard or by a mouse movement. I have to switch off/on.

$ hwinfo exceeds the line buffer of my Bash Konsole window. Which info there is essential here?

Don't know why but it works (again).
