Description Roeland Jansen 2023-06-26 10:14:00 UTC
I know that with wayland, the copy/pasting does not work between windows as host OS and leap 15.4. the standard KDE plasma stuff works fine.

However, I updated my VM (vmware workstation 17.x), copy/paste all over sudden failed. It copy/pastes local fine but across the vm and the host and vice versa fails.

I checked that I did not inadvertedly had wayland chosen.

In order to keep working with the vm, I cloned it, upgraded to TW and that works
as usual.

Copy/paste within the host (W10) keeps working
Copy paste within the linux vm keeps working

Win <--> 15.5 fails

Same setup with TW (20230626) works fine
Same setup with 15.4 worked fine too.

Hmm. Weird to see that this still works with Leap 15.4, breaks with Leap 15.5 but works (again) with TW.

Once available this should be retested with Leap 15.6.
