Likely a chip-specific problem, and no generic issue of AMDGPU itself, AFAIK.
At best, could you report it to the upstream, gitlab.freedesktop.org Issues?

oh, ok.  i've just taken a look on that site and it has many moving parts.  could you let me know which one to add it to please.  i use plasma.  in fact here is my current setup:
