Bugzilla – Bug 1213792
Dependency resolution issues with the libopencore-armnb0 and libopencore-amrwb0
Last modified: 2023-07-31 06:00:17 UTC
When trying to update all packages with KDE Discover, it fails due to a dependency resolution issue with the libopencore-amrnb0 and libopencore-amrwb0 packages. Both are moving from version 0.1.6-1699.1.pm.9 -> 0.1.6-1.3. Using Zypper, an update can be performed on the rest of the packages, but Zypper also states these two packages cannot be updated. More annoyingly, KDE Discover simply fails when trying to update all packages at once and will not proceed. I am unsure if the dependency resolution conflict comes from the two packages conflicting with each other or not, but I chose to include these both here since they seem likely related. Here are the specifications for my ThinkPad that this occurred on: OS: openSUSE Tumbleweed x86_64 Host: 20XYCTO1WW ThinkPad X1 Yoga Gen 6 Kernel: 6.4.6-1-default Uptime: 26 mins Packages: 2385 (rpm), 17 (flatpak) Shell: bash 5.2.15 Resolution: 3840x2400 DE: Plasma 5.27.6 WM: kwin Theme: [Plasma], Breeze [GTK2/3] Icons: [Plasma], breeze [GTK2/3] Terminal: konsole CPU: 11th Gen Intel i7-1185G7 (8) @ 4.800GHz GPU: Intel TigerLake-LP GT2 [Iris Xe Graphics] Memory: 5452MiB / 31792MiB Please feel free to ask for any more information if its needed to help resolve this bug. (Hopefully I did well with my first bug report for using Opensuse Tumbleweed! :) ) --- COPY OF REPORTED BUG FROM KDE DISCOVER --- Dependency resolution failed: problem with the installed libopencore-amrnb0-0.1.6-1699.1.pm.9.x86_64 problem with the installed libopencore-amrwb0-0.1.6-1699.1.pm.9.x86_64
These are packages from the Packman project. If they have dependency issues then the bevahior to show this is correct. Use „zypper dup“ to attempt to resolve interactively. For the specific package problem contact the Packman project.
