Hallo Stefan Dirsch, ich benutze nur den nouveau-treiber. In dem Link wird auch darauf hingewiesen, dass der kernel 5.14.21-150400.24.69 das Problem nicht hat. Letzter Kommentar: Noch ein Nachtrag zu dem Kernel : Habe den Kernel 5.14.21-150500.55.7 bisher geladen. Auflösungsproblem. Dann den Kernel 5.14.21-150400.24.69 geladen. Jetzt hab ich die Auflösung 1900x1080 wieder. Unter dem alten Kernel (5.14.21-150400.24.69) ein Update macht, und nicht genau hinschaut was er alles updatet, dann ist beim Kernel-Update wieder der neue drin und zwar jetzt (5.14.21-150500.55.12) Der neue Kernel wird dann in dem Bootmenü hinzugefügt. Dann ist 2x der neue Kernel drin und der alte Kernel wandert nach unten. Das Problem bleibt bei dem Kernel 5.14.21-150500.55.12 bestehen.
Ok. Looks like a regression in 5.14.21-150500.55.7 (Leap 15.5) for nouveau driver compared to 5.14.21-150400.24.69 (Leap 15.5). For me this looks like a fallback to fbdev driver (nouveau driver cannot be loaded) or the monitor cannot be detected.
We disabled nouveau driver for the recent chips that are known to be broken as default on Leap 15.5, and I believe that's it. In such a case, you should see the relevant kernel message, and you can enable it forcibly via a boot / module option. Please check the dmesg output.
