Greetings,
I run SLED 15 SP5 and I downloaded the hping package using YaST2 from repository 
SUSE-PackageHub-15-SP5-Backports-Pool
URL: https://updates.suse.com/SUSE/Backports/SLE-15-SP5_x86_64/standard?Z3YnILKwLx8R4rnKXXPUgZ8wu2XkGTxnOYjoeNeQn1aMvNj7a2LsWxWcbBNUG0JOAwqvOiyR0q_MZ7WOhezwI2EjXt5DnQwMtzzbbvFPahXCxLxyTho8kpj8hOMYzemX6cL2vZ17Jd0

The hping package is installed without any problem bu when executing "sudo hping3", I get the following error message:

NO TCL scripting support compiled in.
(Sorry, this hping binary was compiled without TCL scripting support).

FWIW: $ sudo hping3 -v
hping version 3.0.0-alpha-1 ($Id: release.h,v 1.4 2004/04/09 23:38:56 antirez Exp $)

Is it a known problem and is there any way to fix it ?

It looks like that hping is quite old and wasn't updated for a long time. We have to check if we can fix and keep it in Package Hub.

Since hping offers more than just ping in some cases, I hope it will be possible to put it back to life.
