Description Mark Harvey 2023-09-03 16:34:02 UTC
For these sections in our documentation,

40.5.2.2 Repairing and checking file systems

https://documentation.suse.com/sles/15-SP3/single-html/SLES-administration/#sec-trouble-data-recover-rescue-filesystem

40.5.2.2 Repairing and checking file systems

https://documentation.suse.com/sles/15-SP3/html/SLES-all/cha-trouble.html#sec-trouble-data-recover-rescue-filesystem

I'm requesting an expansion on dealing with BTRFS file systems.

Is fsck.FILESYSTEM an alias for using fsck on specific file systems?

Request the following:

1. avoid using alias commands ; use specific commands

2. correct the paragraph ; remove "fsck.btrfs" ; add "btrfs check"

3. reference the storage guide section on BTRFS
https://documentation.suse.com/sles/15-SP3/single-html/SLES-storage/

4. add TID: How to recover from BTRFS errors
https://www.suse.com/support/kb/doc/?id=000018769

5. add TID: BTRFS Master TID
https://www.suse.com/support/kb/doc/?id=000018779

6. add a second paragraph that references the following site

https://btrfs.readthedocs.io/en/latest/btrfs-check.html
