Description ell1e 2023-09-13 09:51:32 UTC
All audio recordings done through pulseaudio and Audacity have hiccup style glitches sounds like some robot hiccuping in them, making them mostly unusable. I haven't found any workaround, and all microphones I tried through multiple sound cards (some via USB) are affected. I think I saw this via sox too, so this seems to be a major pulseaudio problem rather than an audacity problem. If someone knows a workaround I would be curious.

Nevermind, seems like this was caused by some problem in the playback of the recording rather than the recording itself. I'll dig a bit further, sorry for filing this too early.
