I was getting a blank theme (white).

Using --test-mode for the sddm greeter I realized:

file:///usr/share/sddm/themes/breeze/Background.qml:21:5: QML Image: Cannot open: file:///usr/share/wallpapers/Next/contents/images/5120x2880.png

Solved it by installing breeze5-wallpapers, but this should be a dependency of the branding package.
