when I try to connect my phone to pc using usb tethering nothing happens.

It did work on other linux distributions Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. connect phone using usb cable 2. choose usb tethering on phone 3. Actual Results: nothing happens Expected Results: usb tethering should act as wired network
Hi I was going open a bug for this. Just found the solution: as root give the following modprobe rndis_host @developers: could you check it and apply a patch? Thank you so much
This is the likely cause: https://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1205767 [Bug 1205767 - VUL-0: kernel: protocol problems in RNDIS drivers] has apparently led to a decision to blacklist the RNDIS drivers.
