Description Ayers 2023-10-18 17:53:38 UTC
Since Arm Tumbleweed snapshot 20230922 no network hardware is available, except a usb dongle, rolling back to Kernel 6.4.12 fixed the problem.
Comment 1 Ivan Ivanov 2023-10-20 08:22:35 UTC
Can you attach dmesg output from the failing kernel?

kernel 6.5.9 has been released as part of snapshot 20231029 and contains wifi fixes.

Could you try it and report if the problem persists, please?
Comment 4 Ayers 2023-10-31 18:48:48 UTC
Updated to snapshot 20231029 but still have no wifi.

I am beginning to think it may be hardware related as the wifi device does not show under any command issued.
Comment 5 Ayers 2023-11-01 01:33:27 UTC
After further searching it was a hardware problem. The wifi had become disabled and had to be reenabled using PINE64 logo key+F11.

I had forgotten that this possibility even existed and wish to thank everybody whose time I might have wasted,

Ah, that's good news!

Maybe something to add to the wiki page: https://en.opensuse.org/HCL:Pinebook-Pro-RK3399 ?
