Missing dummy in kernel-default-base
Last modified: 2024-06-25 17:59:25 UTC
JeOS 15.4 is missing dummy in kernel-default-base (it's in kernel-default). JeOS 15.5 has the module in kernel-default. Do we want to unify that?
Actually, I was wrong. Also Leap 15.5 does not have dummy in kernel-default-base. Likely it will not be also in upcoming 15.6. The question is whether it should be there or not.
Submitted to TW (sr#1121191) and SP5 (sr#311823).

I would say if it's in 15-SP6, it should be also in 15-SP5. But OTOH nobody complains, to that it's actually OK not include it. FYI dummy module was also needed to test CVE-2023-1829 (bsc#1210335), but that's possible only on 15-SP6 - older versions don't have it, e.g. 15-SP5 (bsc#1217364), but this is not a reason to add the module (not a real request from Leap users).
