This is not reproducible with an up to date Tumbleweed and Firefox from repos on Wayland. So you either have a broken user profile, broken firefox profile, strange browser extensions, tinkered CSS code in firefox, or whatever.

With the steps you described in the two Mozilla bugreports this is not reproducible and points to issues on your machine.
Comment 5 pallas wept 2023-11-02 18:18:57 UTC
It's reproducible using a Tumbleweed Live CD image entirely unmodified.
Comment 6 pallas wept 2023-11-02 18:40:41 UTC
I just double checked and sure enough, using the very latest Tumbleweed KDE Live DVD ISO from this download: https://mirror.2degrees.nz/opensuse/tumbleweed/iso/openSUSE-Tumbleweed-KDE-Live-x86_64-Snapshot20231031-Media.iso

Simply start the system in a freshly created VM, log out (because it automatically logs into X11) and log in (to KDE Wayland), start firefox, hit ctrl+t several times to create new tabs, click on one of them and try to drag it, and it will fail. No alterations made whatsoever.

To be clear, I mean to say that you should hit ctrl+shift+tab to open the all tabs list, and try to drag the tabs in there. Dragging them in the tab list across the title bar works fine.

Reopening in correct category for proper visibility. If you cannot reproduce this bug, do me the respect of discussing it with me so I can walk you through it before you close it, so I don't have to keep re-logging it, please!
