Description Benjamin Sabatini 2023-11-03 18:01:26 UTC
I’m running, as of today, version “20231101” of MicroOS Aeon. Running a kvm through virt-manager gives:

“Error starting domain: Requested operation is not valid: network ‘default’ is not active”.

Trying to start the network from terminal gives…

sudo virsh net-start default
error: Failed to start network default
error: internal error: Failed to apply firewall rules /sbin/iptables -w --table filter --list-rules: libvirt: error : cannot execute binary /sbin/iptables: Permission denied

Setting SELinux to permissive in grub and rebooting allows the network to start and kvm to be functional.

Please fix the last update to SELinux that came in with the 20231101 snapshot.

I updated it to include Tumbleweed because that will probably get more attention and it affects both.

Hey Cathy I think they are the same bug as bsc#1216903 isn't it?
