[doc] Issue in "Resizing a logical volume"
Last modified: 2023-11-15 09:13:35 UTC
Created attachment 870739 [details] SLES15 SP1 Resizing a logical volume: One of our customers found out that the current steps mentioned in the yast partitioner to resize a logical volume do not work. The steps are mentioned here: > https://documentation.suse.com/sles/15-SP5/html/SLES-all/cha-lvm.html#sec-lvm-lv-resize I figured out these are indeed the steps used in SLES 15 SP1 (and perhaps SP2 on - did not try in later SPs). The actual steps in SLES 15 SP5 are: > yast partitioner > Select the volume group in the left pannel > Select the logical volume in the right pannel > Select "Device" on the top menu and then "Resize" Attached are screenshots demonstrating the difference between those two versions. Thank you.
