the package nscd is marked as unneeded, however the kernel or other applications still use it.

the package system-user-games in unneeded, but steam and 0ad installed.  i would assume they need this

I believe this is a package level problem. Please report individual bugs so they can be routed correctly. using is different from requiring it to function

I do not see anything in the 0ad package that suggests it requires the games user though.
