Description Uemit Arslan 2023-12-20 10:35:07 UTC
A customer has nicely asked if we could add gitlab-runner RPM's to package hub.

On the gitlab website there are RPMs and Deb package for several distros.
Unfortunately there is nothing for openSUSE/SLES:

https://docs.gitlab.com/runner/install/linux-repository.html
https://packages.gitlab.com/runner/gitlab-runner/

For openSUSE there are some builds for Leap and TW:

https://software.opensuse.org/package/gitlab-runner

Maybe those ones could be used for PH ?

PackageHub can ship any package that the community sees fit to do so. So far nobody in the community has done so, not even for Tumbleweed. So to answer your question is: No, there is no package right now that can be shipped in PackageHub.

You could go ahead and do the work yourself or help the customer do it, or ask Darix, or get the resources to do so when it is a SLE feature. In any case the package needs to go into Tumbleweed first.
