Description Shawn Dunn 2023-12-29 01:47:41 UTC
+++ This bug was initially created as a clone of Bug #1211835 +++

In a default install of Aeon, the TPM chip is not detected by Gnome due to missing packages.

Gnome settings > Privacy > Device Security reports "Checks Failed - Hardware does not pass checks. The report show "TPM v2.0: ! Fail (Not Found)" under HSI-1 Tests. The required packages are,
tpm2-0-tss
tpm2.0-abrmd
tpm2.0-tools

Obviously we haven't run into this bug in Kalpa yet, but these are things that should be included by default.
