Kernel log failed with "openSUSE-Tumbleweed-DVD-aarch64-Snapshot20240107-Media.iso"

Hi

For Renesas RZ platforms we were able to install Tumbleweed OpenSUSE until 2023-11-29, but it is failing on the latest installer on 2024-01-07

openSUSE-Tumbleweed-DVD-aarch64-Snapshot20231129-Media.iso : working ok
openSUSE-Tumbleweed-DVD-aarch64-Snapshot20240107-Media.iso : Failed due to "Loading Installation System (4/6) to (6/6)" switched to network.

I've added the boot logs for these 2 versions.

The key difference between these two is, on the newer installer (2024-01-07), the loading install Systems 4 to 6 are missing and the error message saying the installation files are expected to be downloaded.

But previously we were able to install all the requires files from the USB itself and no network connection was required.

Is something changed in the newer installers?

Best Regards
John

It could be a broken ISO.

Could you try with latest ISO, please?

Hi Guillaume

Thanks, the latest ISO is working ok.

However, I see the installation is very slow in this installer compared to the last Sep/Oct'23 time.

I'm using tera-term windows serial tool to feed the inputs.

Is there any issues with using tera-term or any suggestion to improve the installation time.

Best Regards
John
