Description john brown 2024-01-11 06:56:51 UTC
On a Lenovo X1 Gen-11 the F4 microphone does NOT work

F4 led is lit and does not respond to key-press

The microphone and F4 works correctly on Fedora liveUSB (Linux 6.6.6-200.fc39.x86_64 x86_64)

Speakers work correctly

The microphone is enabled in BIOS (default)

Gnome Settings reports "No Input Devices" under the Sound tab

Pulse Audio Input tab reports "Port: Microphone (unplugged)" as the only option

Pulse Audio Configuration tab is set to option 1 of 5
- Stereo Output + Stereo Input
- Stereo Output
- Stereo Input (unplugged) (unavailable)
- Pro Audio
- Off
