Description Dan Elder 2005-10-09 22:13:59 UTC
When I run network-admin (part of networkmanager) as either root or a normal
user I receive an error message dialog indicating that "Could not run "su"". As
root it will give this message immediately but as a normal user it will ask for
the root password first. Below the main error is smaller error stating "Check
that you have permissions to run this command". I can su as a normal user or
root just fine so that doesn't seem to be the issue. I'll attach the output of
strace on it as well.
Thanks,
Dan

This is not actually part of network-admin, but rather part of gnome-system-tools

Just to keep it current, I'm having the same, exact issue on a build downloaded this morning. I might up the severity of this a bit, it has direct security implications.
