Your downloaded image may be kind of broken; check the signature of it and/or download it again

Those linuxrc error pop-ups don't tell us anything.

What exact error message? What exactly did you do, and how far did you get?

Please attach y2logs generated with the supplied 'save_y2logs' script.

https://en.opensuse.org/openSUSE:Report_a_YaST_bug#I_get_a_red_text_pop-up_telling_me_"An_error_occurred_during_installation"._Is_there_still_any_way_to_salvage_log_files?

And of course the obvious things: Did you check the checksum of the ISO with 'sha256sum -c' and the matching *.iso.sha256 file?
Comment 7 Stefan Hundhammer 2024-02-08 13:10:25 UTC
And with a NET ISO, it is important that you use the latest one. The one from two days ago may already be too old; that's the downside of the NET ISO approach. And it's also the most common error.

Please make sure of that before you do anything else.

please display clear relevant errors during installation.
I selected different protocols for repository FTP, HTTP, HTTPS..
sha256sum: boot/x86_64/efi: No such file or directory
boot/x86_64/efi: FAILED open or read
sha256sum: boot/x86_64/loader/fa.tr: No such file or directory
boot/x86_64/loader/fa.tr: FAILED open or read
...

Please read the instructions that come with those NET ISOs.

You always need to make sure you have the latest one. If in doubt, download it again. Don't forget to check the checksums to ensure that no subtle download errors creeped in.

If you aren't sure how to do any of that, please read the documentation.
