Description Ulrich Windl 2005-10-10 15:04:00 UTC
After update from 9.2 to 10.0, bootloader installation failed due to a syntax
error. It turned out that Yast did remove double-quotes from ``append="blabla"''
lines.

Can you please attach the /var/log/YaST2 directory (as a tar file)?
Please take a look at http://www.opensuse.org/Bug_Reporting_FAQ#YaST
if you have any problems.
Comment 2 Ulrich Windl 2005-10-12 06:29:40 UTC
For the Yast logs, see attachment #53799 [details] to Bug #121990.
Comment 3 Ulrich Windl 2005-10-12 06:36:10 UTC
Created attachment 53801 [details]
/etc/lilo.conf of 9.2, before update

You might play with this input file and the current YaST code
