Bugzilla – Bug 121981
YaST removed double-quotes from /etc/lilo.conf's append="blabla" causing a syntax error
Last modified: 2005-10-12 09:13:06 UTC
After update from 9.2 to 10.0, bootloader installation failed due to a syntax error. It turned out that Yast did remove double-quotes from ``append="blabla"'' lines.
Can you please attach the /var/log/YaST2 directory (as a tar file)? Please take a look at http://www.opensuse.org/Bug_Reporting_FAQ#YaST if you have any problems.
For the Yast logs, see attachment #53799 [details] to Bug #121990.
Created attachment 53801 [details] /etc/lilo.conf of 9.2, before update You might play with this input file and the current YaST code
