Broken fonts in firefox

As you can see in the attached screenshots, the fonts are very unhappy in firefox on some pages. Some invalid ligatures glue together letters that they shouldn't and it looks very strange. I don't use slowroll's firefox build but the official one, so maybe I should file this bug with mozilla instead if this is a firefox bug, but I simply don't know. Maybe something with the system fonts is broken?

The problem went away after a system upgrade. I assume whatever was wrong with the fonts has been fixed then.
