Hello

This happened on TW running on Macbook 5.1 (old, nvidia 9400) and now repeated on Thinkpad T480 with Intel 630 graphics.

I have launched gimp3 (flatpak) a<nd noticing a glitch in menu display, launched spectacle to record screen (actually gimp3 window) in "webm" format. I reproduced the bug and while trying to return spectacle to end recording, system frozen with either massive cpu or memory load (16GB here)

attaching journal.txt (gzipped)
