Hello Otto, will you have time to look into the issue? We're in RC phase already https://en.opensuse.org/openSUSE:Roadmap#Schedule_for_openSUSE_Leap_15.6
QGIS 3.18 is 3 years old now. Newer QGIS needs python >= 3.7. Doesn't make much sense to have such an old version. I doubt Otto will care for that package. Application:Geo repo doesn't build for 15.6. 3.18 must be a backported package somewhere. Where are the build errors visible? It's hard to check when it's nowhere to be seen. It's really a pain to keep stuff usable for Leap. Usually I abandon Leap packages when they don't build.
This report seem to be dated, we did update qgis to 3.34.1 in Leap 15.6, could you please retest it on the latest snapshot?
