In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:

mtd: maps: vmu-flash: Fix the (mtd core) switch to ref counters

The Linux kernel CVE team has assigned CVE-2023-52496 to this issue.

Not only relevant but also completely bogus. This is a build fix!
